Everything has a beginning!
Three main building projects will be started at the same time. The Shul, The Women's Gym Complex with Mikvah and your homes.
We will breakdown the project as follows:
>Roads, sewer, water works, electrical and fiber optics all are foundational. We are looking into the cost associated with a campus wide water chilling system with individual air conditioning units as backups. The heating units will be in each home.
The campus will be developed and designed with a park like concept in mind - a lot of trees, grass and flowers and sidewalks.
Phase I - Shul, Homes, Women's Gym, Men's Gym, Office Bldg, Community Building and Medical/Birthing Center. Total time: 12 months.
Phase II - Apartment Complexes - Townhouses and Condo Units - 12 months
Phase III - Senor Living both Assisted and Full-time care - 12 months
It should take 7 years to complete all three phases. We hope to build in a way that will lend itself to little or no interference with those who are living at the Jewish Village in Phase I. Each Phase has its own area. It will take understanding and patience on those of us living there as we complete the village for everyone. Once done it will be simply beautiful and well worth the inconveniences during construction.
WORKING AT THE VILLAGE:
There will be all kinds of work available, from working at the medical clinic to those young men who pickup our trash. If you are a craftsman or an interior designer and want to work, you will find work. We also will have our own manufacturing company developing new products for world markets.
We hope in time to develop expertise in all fields of human accomplishment - from Torah scribes to school teachers. We want to encourage parents to allow their children to be trained in trades as they go to school and get hands on experience.
We want to encourage the Arts - writing, painting, music and documentary productions.
